NexiGo Limited Hardware Warranty

NexiGo-branded hardware products come with a warranty ranging from 90 days to 3 years. The length of the warranty term will be indicated in the product manual. NexiGo may offer different delivery methods for warranty service, including but not limited to: parts and product dispatches, mail-in service, and onsite/in-home service. Renewals and extensions of your limited hardware warranty may also be available after purchase. To determine the type of warranty that came with your product(s), or the details of the warranty renewal /extension that you purchased, see your packing slip, invoice, receipt, quotation, or other sales documentation. Additional information related to warranty coverage is listed below.

All items sold directly by NexiGo (Nexight Inc.) or NexiGo’s authorized resellers are covered by a warranty starting from the date of purchase.

Product-quality-related warranty claims on purchases made through NexiGo's authorized distributors and retailers, such as Microcenter, are handled directly through NexiGo. Product-quality-related issues are defined as defects caused through normal use of the device, or “out-of-box” issues found when the unit is first delivered.

NexiGo’s limited warranty is restricted to items located in the country of purchase. Items removed from the country they were originally purchased in will have the warranty coverage voided.

For quality-related warranty claims, items will be replaced with a factory refurbished model of equal value when available, otherwise a new item will be sent. In situations where a replacement is not an available or preferred option, NexiGo will offer a partial refund according to the usage time of the device.

Warranties on replacements follow the same warranty timeframe of the original defective item. Product warranties are voided once a full refund has been provided for an item.

Process:

  • Buyer must contact NexiGo technical support and follow all troubleshooting instructions provided. Returns will not be authorized until all troubleshooting steps for the product have been provided by our support team and those steps have been tested;
  • Buyer must provide a valid proof of purchase, as well as the serial number of the defective unit if available;
  • Photographic proof of the defect is required for most issues;
  • It may be necessary to return the item for an inspection. If so the NexiGo support representative will provide instructions on how to proceed;

Note: Failure to return a unit to NexiGo for an inspection when requested in the furtherance of a replacement request, will void the warranty on the unit.

Valid forms of proof of purchase:

  • Order number from an online purchase made through NexiGo or NexiGo's authorized resellers;
  • Sales invoice;
  • Dated sales receipt from an authorized NexiGo reseller that shows a description of the product along with its price.

Note: In some cases, additional forms of proof of purchase may be required to process a warranty claim not specified here.

Warranty claim cases expire 90 days after being opened unless the unit is received by NexiGo during that time. If a product is not returned in that timeframe it will not be possible to provide service under that case number. Products with expired warranties will still be eligible for warranty service as long as a claim was established before the end of the original warranty period. If the case expires it will not be possible to open a warranty claim on said item.

Shipping costs must be covered by the buyer in the following situations:

  • Returning products for any reason other than a proven defect;
  • Accidental purchase returns;
  • Non-NexiGo items are returned;
  • Returning items claimed to have defects but found by NexiGo Quality Control to be in working condition;
  • Returning defective items through international shipping;
  • Costs associated with unauthorized returns (any returns made outside of the approved warranty process).

Not Covered Under Warranty:

  • Products without sufficient proof of purchase;
  • Lost or stolen products;
  • Items whose warranty period has expired;
  • Non-quality-related issues (after 30 days from the date of purchase);
  • Free products;
  • Damage through normal wear and tear;
  • Repairs through third parties;
  • Using accessories, parts or components not supplied by NexiGo;
  • Damage from outside sources;
  • Damage from misuse of products that is not in accordance with product instructions (including, but not limited to: falls, extreme temperatures, water, and operating devices improperly);
  • Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance;
  • Purchases from unauthorized resellers.

NexiGo is not liable for:

  • Loss of data incurred from the use of NexiGo products, or
  • The return of personal items sent to NexiGo.

When returning items with a prepaid shipping label provided by NexiGo, NexiGo takes responsibility for any damage or loss incurred in transit. When returning items for non-quality-related issues, the customer assumes responsibility for any damage or loss that occurs while the return is in transit. NexiGo does not provide refunds for items that are damaged or lost while in transit for these warranty claims.
